This notice covers the Veylen list at veylen.ai: what we keep when you join, why, who handles it, and how to have it removed.
Who we are
This list is run by Veylen, based in Saudi Arabia. We decide how the list is used. For anything about your data, write to hello@veylen.ai.
What we keep
When you join the list, we store:
- your email address;
- the date and time you joined;
- whether our confirmation email to you was sent, and when;
- which version of this page you saw (each visit shows one of several designs, at random).
That is all. We do not ask for your name, and we do not store your IP address or device details with your sign-up.
To keep automated sign-ups out, we briefly use your IP address to limit repeated attempts. It is never stored with your email and is discarded within 24 hours.
Why we keep it
- To send you a confirmation when you join, and one email when your seat is ready.
- To see which version of this page works best.
We do not sell your email, share it with advertisers, or add it to a newsletter.
Where the law asks for a legal basis (in the EU and UK, for example), ours is your consent: you asked to join. You can withdraw it at any time by leaving the list.
Who handles it for us
- Cloudflare runs this website and stores the list (Cloudflare Workers and D1). Like any web host, it sees your IP address and browser details when you visit, to deliver the page and protect the site.
- Resend sends our emails. It receives your email address and the messages we send you.
They use it only to provide these services to us, under their data processing terms. Either may handle it outside Saudi Arabia, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
Until you leave the list, or until six months after Veylen opens to the public, whichever comes first. Then we delete it. Resend keeps delivery records for a limited time under its own terms.
Your choices
- Leave any time. Every email from the list has a link to leave, and leaving deletes your email from the list right away.
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it: write to hello@veylen.ai. We reply within 30 days.
- If you think we have mishandled your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The list is not meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
If this notice changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
